Feeling isolated in a new university city like Portsmouth was tough during my first few years, and the challenges that inspired LocalLinked stem from that same experience. Luca and I shared a vision of improving social cohesion within local communities, which led me to join the startup in early 2025.
Studying Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Portsmouth has taught me to think critically, approach problems logically, and apply technical solutions to real-world challenges. Together, we’re shaping LocalLinked to tackle genuine community issues, starting here in Portsmouth and expanding across the UK and beyond.
