LocalLinked is designed for university students and staff who want to save money, discover local gems, and get rewarded for going out and getting involved.

We partner with local businesses and organisations in order to make this possible.

How does it work?

Visit one of our partners and look out for our black and yellow NFC terminals. Tap the circular one to 'check-in' to a spot and receive 10 points! When making a purchase tap the square terminal on the till for 20 points. If you attend our 'Community Events' found on the home page, you'll receive 100 points!

These points can be used to unlock discount vouchers and prize pool tickets through the app.

We’re currently live in Portsmouth and Southsea only. If you'd like to see LocalLinked in your city in the future, contact us!

Visit our Business page and find information about how to partner with us. A member of our team will get in touch to discuss collaboration.

Is LocalLinked free to use?

The LocalLinked app is free to use, and will always be free for students.

For now, it is also completely free for businesses, but as we grow and upgrade our platforms, paid tiers will be introduced depending on the number of students/staff using LocalLinked at your spot!

How does the prize pool work?

Buy a ticket for the prize pool for 100 points.

At the end of the month, random winners are chosen automatically (favouring those with more tickets). You'll be notified of your winnings and contacted by email with your reward!
